Just get them! Just enough height and comfortable right out of the box. Got my normal size 6.5, and they are perfect.

I have 3 pairs and recently left one pair on a cruise. After they could not be found I just had to replace them. Cannot live without my Getaway Stix and I am always getting compliments and questions on them. Best shoes ever!

I wore my safari wedges right out of the box for a day at the office. As others recommended, I went half a size up (to 8.5). I live in NYC and my commute includes walking, climbing the escalator stairs, and more walking. To my pleasant surprise, the shoes felt comfortable all day. During my commute home, the subway train got stuck so I decided to talk a chance on the shoes and walk 20 minutes to a different line. It was a hot and humid day and I waited for my sweaty feet to develop blisters, but these wedges still felt almost as comfortable as my sneakers. Not only did I make it to the Plan B subway stop, but when I finally got home, I didn’t have a single blister or sore and my feet didn’t hurt. That’s pretty darned impressive. If they came in a light blue or navy blue, I’d absolutely buy a second pair. These shoes are worth every cent for their comfort, and they look smart with both pants and dresses. I am sold!
